Out On A Wing Falconry

Out On A Wing Falconry was formed in 2002 by husband and wife team Tim and Tina. After helping at various centres throughout the county, Tim and Tina decided that it was time to start on their own and started to build their own collection.

Out On A Wing Falconry tries to mix entertainment with learning, and with over 40 years experience between them, they endeavor to teach the children to understand the beauty and fascination of birds of prey. Hopefully they will want to learn and interact with wildlife and will preserve wildlife for the future.

Les Dixon's Mountgrace Gundogs

Les Dixon has been a professional gundog trainer for over twenty five years.Originally based near Mount Grace Priory in North Yorkshire from where the gundog team gets its name he now lives and works a few miles away in East Harlsey and has a training ground in mixed woodland near East Rounton.

In previous years Les have been seen at Newark, Nottingham, Herts County, East of England, Great Yorkshire, Alnwick Castle as well as many smaller one day shows.

Having toured the country show scene for about ten years, Les knows exactly what the public like to see: "At the beginning I used to go into the arena with my best trained dogs and show people how well behaved they all were. I still like to show some well trained dogs, but what I believe the public likes to see is some partly trained dogs not always doing the right thing. Then when a dog misbehaves I can demonstrate how to correct this behaviour."
